“Even on your worst day, you’re beautiful,” sings Robin Harper. If you love acoustic guitar and inspiring lyrics, you will love Robin’s debut album. Watch the video to hear Robin sing and talk about the stories behind her heartfelt songwriting.
Robin has loved music from a young age and loved performing even as a little kid. She played guitar in middle school but paused her music career later in life to raise four beautiful children. She admits that she had always wanted to be a songwriter but didn’t think that she could, but after performing for years she decided that she wanted to try.
Inspired by a 15-year-old singer/songwriter who helped her write her first song, Robin Harper is now debuting her first album, comprised of fifteen beautiful songs. These songs include stories from her life, causes she supports, and other fun and entertaining songs. One song, “Look Up” talks of her divorced parents and her feelings that had been buried until she recently wrote this song. She says that songwriting has enhanced by her life experiences, and she loves to tell these stories through her songs. Her song “Even on Your Worst Day, You’re Beautiful” was inspired by her husband who tells her this whenever she doubts herself. She also sings beautiful song “Landslide” while Amy Cook harmonizes.
Robin’s new album debuted on April 7th.
